    • In social media posts: Include a clear disclosure such as “#ad,” “#sponsored,” or “affiliate link.”
  • Honesty: Affiliates must provide honest and truthful endorsements and testimonials. Any claims about the products must be accurate and not misleading.
  • Substantiation: Any factual claims about Love Discomfort products must be substantiated. Affiliates must ensure that they have sufficient evidence to support any claims made in their promotional content.

2. Local Laws and Regulations

  • Jurisdiction Compliance: Affiliates must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their respective jurisdictions. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising laws, consumer protection laws, and privacy regulations.
  • Age Restrictions: Affiliates must ensure that their promotional content is appropriate for all audiences and adheres to any age restrictions or guidelines applicable to their jurisdiction.

3. Content Guidelines

  • Prohibited Content: Affiliates must not promote Love Discomfort products through content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or discriminatory. This includes, but is not limited to, content that:
    • Promotes violence or hate speech.
    • Contains false or misleading information.
    • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Ethical Marketing: Affiliates must engage in ethical marketing practices. This includes avoiding any deceptive or manipulative practices that could mislead consumers.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Data Collection: Affiliates must comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) if applicable. Affiliates must obtain explicit consent from users before collecting any personal data.
  • Data Security: Affiliates must implement appropriate security measures to protect any personal data collected during the course of their promotional activities.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

  • Audits: Love Discomfort LLC reserves the right to audit affiliate activities to ensure compliance with these requirements. Affiliates must provide any requested information or documentation to assist in these audits.
  • Violations: Any violations of these compliance requirements may result in immediate termination from the affiliate program and forfeiture of any unpaid commissions. Love Discomfort reserves the right to take legal action against affiliates who engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.

6. Acknowledgment

By participating in the Love Discomfort Affiliate Program, affiliates acknowledge and agree to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines. Failure to adhere to these compliance requirements may result in termination from the program and other legal consequences.
